These days, Phil Entzminger has certainly emerged as a prolific world traveler. Among his favorite destinations is Tokyo, in part because he found the Japanesepeople to be extremely organized and friendly and because the food and culture was amazing. He has also traveled to Finland, Italy, and some parts of South Africa. When it comes to culinary pursuits, he prefers restaurants that can cater to his lifestyle.

You see, Phil Entzminger has been a practicing vegan since about 2017. He claims to be vegan because he only wants to eat food that avoids the use of animal products, but he readily admits that he’s not as strictly vegan as he perhaps should be. His love of cheese means he sometimes sneaks in some dairy. That really seems to be about it, however, because Phil Entzminger eats a vegan diet because he believes it is a key to a healthy lifestyle. He swears his vegan diet has allowed him to think more clearly, has given him more energy and that it has made him feel stronger than ever before.

Phil Entzminger's trip to Helsinki, Finland incolved his work as a freelance blogger and writer, working in the heart of Helsinki. He was impressed with the healthy mix of city and rural life he experienced there and he has particular memories of eating the best turnips anywhere there. He visited Rome with his family in 2017, where he and the rest of the family were able to make their own pasta and take a tour of the Vatican. No long after that, Phil Entzminger's father then treated him and the family to a safari park in South Africa, where they were able to get up close and personal with wild animals like giraffes, lions, hippopotamus, zebras, and antelope.
